Need Spiral Mfg. Duct Lateral Dimensions

    Hi folks:

The extreme precision sketchup modelling of my workshop continues and I am planning the dust collection routing now. I have the specs for the laterals from Spiral Mfg. where I will be buying my fittings, but I want to make sure I understand their dimesions before I draw 'em up and start the layout / planning. So maybe one of you that has a lateral from Spiral can confirm my understanding of it.

    Here's the spec

Assuming a 6" duct size for "D", this results in
    1) Overall length of the straight section of (1.414*6)+2+2+2 =14.48"
    2) On the 45 branch section there is a length of 4" from the end of the 45 degree branch to the 45 degree intersection of the branch and the horizontal section - i.e. the 2" shown on the drawing is actually for the other side of the pipe than the one it's drawn for (due to cramping of the drawing maybe). This one had me scratching my head for a bit but I can't see what else it could be....
    3) How wide and high are the little ridges that define where the pipe sections bottom out when slid onto the fitting?

    Thanks very much !
