cant see all threads

I just noticed a problem. If I look at a thread that has 2 pages and go to the second page, I am not actually seeing all the latest threads even though there is no page 3. I need to actually keep drilling down in the window at the top of the thread that shows the trails history Is this normal? BElow is a link to the thread where I noticed this:

Hi Joe,
I get that too. If I view the thread without signing in it's ok, but when I sign in and view the same thread I loose the pages and have to scroll down that first box thing.

Hi Joe,
Try to switch from your current setting to Linear Mode under Display Mode all the way to the right side of the thread heading.
