Freedom Pen TV Debut is over.....

Well.....3 hours later and the live shoot is over. I belive it went rather well and even had the TV host, Jason Harper, Channel 7, turn a pen. His pen and one more will be going to Iraq as a donation from Channel 7.

I will post the pics either tonight or tomorrow. Just too tired now. After going to bed at 0100 hours and getting up a 0400 hours is a bit short on sleep and I have a LOT of meetings today and have other commitments for tonight, so it will be LATE-30 when I get home tonight.

Lots of strong "plugs" for the FreedomPens.Org web site to better promote donations. A shot of the web site was also shown as well as a few emails from troops read while on the air.

I guess we'll see how donations pick up after this. Now....just two more TV stations to go before I will be done with the media.......well....for now at least.
    Thanks & Happy Wood Chips,

    Thumbs up

I know we can't talk to Uncle Ken after all his celebrity status. But can we still have a few of your wood chips??
The true stars are those little pens you artists are crunching out, the message they carry to our sons and daughters and all the notes, letters, and memories that will be captured for loved ones back home.

    My thanks to you all.

Did anyone catch the broadcast and tape it?

I will check with Channel 7 and see if I can get the CD / DVD or VHS tape and get you guys a copy of it. Maybe it can be used as a tool to get other feet in the media doors.?

Great job Dennis. I have already received an e-mail from Delcimer Shoppe Inc, Mountain View, Arkansas.

If you can let me know the exact size needed for the pen blanks and where we could send them, we'll see what we can do to help. If you can't use the wood, let us know and we will make a monetary contribution

The e-mail referenced seeing the show on a Little Rock TV station. I have responded to them via e-mail.
