    Smile Oil shortage

Couldn't have said it better myself:

There are a lot of folks who can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in America.

Well, there's a very simple answer. Nobody bothered to check the oil.

We just didn't know we were getting low. The reason for that is purely geographical.

All our oil is in Alaska, Texas, California, and Oklahoma.

All our dipsticks are in Washington, DC.
    Cheers,

I am very happy those dipsticks in Washngton DO NOT reach to California. Or, at least not too often.

    John,
Your job must be very different than mine, we have plenty of our own dipsticks. They just don't have the same scope as the ones in Washington.

You're probably right, Dean but, where I work, we've got loads of steering wheels. Unfortunately, very few work all the way down through the linkage!
