Great idea I do believe. After reading thru it once I can find nothing bad with your idea. I suppose somebody will jump in here and tell us if there is something hiding in the fine print that'll bite us. But if its a go, coount me in as a future SMC Amazon store shopper.

Whenever I buy online I always try to link from one of a few referral sites. One earns money for my son's education, another earns me cash. Amazon doesn't participate with my normal referral sites but I spend tons and tons at Amazon. I even get a box of diapers from Amazon every month automatically. If SMC is set up as a referral site please make sure to include all Amazon items. This is done at the podcast site already mentioned.

I would happily link from SMC on all my Amazon purchases. I'd be good for a couple hundred a year.

David, once you access the Amazon site via an affiliate link, anything they sell is on the table. I've seen some, umm...very interesting...things purchased by folks from mine! LOL

    Store

Jim & Keith - building a nice store may take several days but is pretty simple. Another option would be to simply insert a link directly to amazon. You could always start with that while you are in the process of building a store. You can browse through my website (only posting it for education purposes) and see that I have a small store as well as box type links at the bottom of several pages.
    Good luck with this.

We have applied for Amazon Affiliate status and are awaiting their approval.

    Neat, Keith!

You can also view the one I have set up on my blog. You can set it up just about any way you wish, either by picking your own items, or making the entire Amazon store available.
