    Question Weekend doin's?

    Good Friday afternoon everyone,

The sun is shining here in Okieland and looks like more of the same tomorrow. Maybe, maybe, I'll get a little yard work done tomorrow. SWMBO will be in Memphis all weekend, so I am sure there will be plenty of shop time. Work continues on the blanket chest. I will press the last veneer panel tonight and begin milling grooves and stub tenons in stiles and rails tomorrow.

Any sawdust in your plans this weekend?

    Have a great weekend all,
    Bob

I hope to get some sawdust time in this weekend. I won't get as much as planned due to the fact that I just got back from Las Vegas and have a ton of work that I need to get caught up on. I'll get started on a mantel clock if time allows. Have a great weekend everyone.

Most likely won't be doing much of anything this weekend. Have been zapped with a head/chest cold that began last weekend and canceled out a planned turning meeting that I was going to attend with Jim Becker. The chest/head thing has persisted all week and will go into this weekend. Doctors visit today to learn of a viral or bacterial infection and have some meds to take for a few days. Have hopes of getting into the shop tomorrow (Sat) to make a few small specialty type hangers for my upcoming DC hanging project. I get bored easily and it looks like it might be a loooongg weekend.

Trying to finish up some cabinets for a job. Have one vanity to make and two counter tops yet. Hope the drywallers get done next week so I can get the kitchen installed and get these cabs out of the shop. Need to start another set soon. Shop is getting kinda cramped up with cabs stacked everywhere.
Heres a first for me. Drawers in a appliance garage. I build my upper corner cabs and appliance garage in one piece. Lady wanted drawers, so I put three in it. Steve

I have a few odds and ends to do around the house, but will try to spend as much time in the shop as possible...it's been a long week on the road and I'm ready to relax among the shavings.

Saturday night we have our monthy night out with another couple for "good food" and will fire up the DVD player, probably Sunday night, to watch Monsters Inc.

Covering a couple of walls in the shop with pine... and hanging a WoodRat. That's a tool btw...not a furry thang.

    Terry,

Didn't mean to make you "hold it in" so long. Busy day today. Seems there have been alot of those lately and more to come.

STILL working on getting the house ready to sell..........

Open house Sunday. God willing, I will be out of this place soon and of into a little less stressed land, Prescott AZ

Im in "discussion" right now with SWMBO about wether the three car garage (currently have a 2 car) is ALL gonna be my shop or just the 2 car part. I am planning on getting another 1 and half built before we move but that aint looking hopeful right now...........

Thats about it for me, I will see some saw dust when I take a tree down tomorrow.

No shop time on Saturday. I have a big FPP day ahead. Saturday morning I am head'in to a meeting of the Gulf Coast Woodturners Association in Houston to introduce the Freedom Pens Project to them. I have 480 pen blanks that Todd Burch donated to get them started. After that, its off to the Houston Rockler Store to give them some FPP flyers to put up and give out. Wish me luck...

If at 1st you don't succeed, go back to the lumberyard and get some more wood.

Just got back from celebrating my Bday with a charming young lady. Smart articulate and very pleasing to the eye. 51 is not as spectacular as the big five oh but still nice.

Wiring up a ceiling fan and lighting in the kitchen, a few pics for SMC and another Bday party with the sailing crew.

Installation of major appliances on Sunday and then a Bday celebration with the family.

I'm going to have to go back to work to get some rest.
Have a good one, and play safe.

Well....here's some spinning I did this weekend, already. The walnut and yellowheart was done a few weeks ago, but I thought somebody might like it...don't know who tho. I'm really new at this spinning thing...I'm passable at my flatwork.
