    Which Centurion bits to get?

    Hi,
My PRS standard 4x8 is due at the end of the year (accountant said shop)

It will have the 2.2 spindle and the reason I got it was sheet goods for cabinets

    What set/sets should I get?
    how good are these prices?

I would get the following and have them available to test/learn with.

    Up and down spiral
    Compression
    Straight

    I would get each in 0.25", 0.375" and 0.5"

I expect you will do something in 3D sooner or later so look at the ball end mills as well.

You will need a table surfacing cutter as well. I use a 1.25" cutter but a larger one could be used as well. Since Centurion only does solid carbide, you will have to look at other sources for this one. It will be braised carbide.

While you are at it, I would suggest you also pick up a 30*, 60*, 90* and 120* V bit from them if you ever want to do a sign. I am sure you will want to!

Thumbs up I Like Onsud Bits

www.onsrud.com I think has the best bits. I've been using the 5mm straight 2 flute solid carbide. Under twenty bucks, and it will do the shelf pin boring and perimeter routing (2 or 3 pass).
