    Discounts for SMC members/contributors

I could have sworn I saw somewhere on SMC mention of retailors that give discounts to SMC folks. Or am I imagining that? Is there a list somewhere?

The only one I know of is Holbren. (assuming I spelled that correctly) But there is also a current promotion for contributors on some router bit sets. See the sticky at the top of the General Woodworking Forum about "Free Stuff", etc.

I realize this is an old post, but replying so others are reminded of the Holbren discount. Yes, they are stilling taking it - use code SMC10. Nice folks, and I can speak for the great Whiteside router bits. I've made a zillion (at last count) cuts with a double fluted spiral solid carbide pattern bit in the last few weeks, and the cutter edges are still sharp enough to cut you if you run your fingers over it (wanta see?).
