    FreeStuff Drawing from iBILD - Laser Scan

    Michael, contact Brady to make arrangements for him to provide your laser scan.

    This FreeStuff Drawing is schduled for November 20th, 2007

    2008 Contributors must Opt-In to be eligible for this drawing.

    Brady Watson of iBILD has recently joined us here at The Creek and has generously offered his custom laser scanning services for this FreeStuff Drawing. A laser scan of your model will be performed and you will be provided with the appropriate files for your CNC router.

    Sawmill Creek 3D Laser Scanning Giveaway:

    This contest will entitle the winner to one free single-sided high resolution laser scan.

    Rules:

    Ø Item can be no larger than 24X24X6 inches (LxWxH)
    Ø Item must be under 15 pounds in weight
    Ø Item must be winner’s original model (no copyrighted or patented items)

    Screen shots of original model and resulting scan data will be shown on SawmillCreek.org. Please specify a 3D mesh format that you would like the resulting scan to be. (RLF, STL, DXF etc) 3D scan data will be shipped on CD along with customer’s original model.

    Count me in. I know of Brady from another forum and have seen his work. He built an excellent HI Res scanner that does incredible scans.

    ArtcamPro 2010_SP4, EnroutePro 5.1, BobCad v21 & v24, Aspire v8 and Rhino 5.

    For those who may not have met Brady or are unfamiliar with his work here is a picture of one of his projects I grabbed from another forum.

    I met Brady last weekend at the ShopBot Camp in Kitty Hawk North Carolina and was able to spend a few minutes with him talking shop. I have been talking with him on the phone many times over the last couple of months discussing a job he is doing for CNU, through our General Contractor.

    If you haven't visited Brady's web site take a few minutes to check out his work, it is very impressive.
