    INfused Acrylic wood

I was at my local supplier a few months ago. He had smaples of this stuff in curly maple. It was very slick to touch an hard. Check out there furniture gallery. Pretty neat.
I have nothing at all to do with this company. Just thought it was something unique.

Unique, strange, interesting... come to mind. $30 a board foot if you send them the sticks is just a tad steep IMNSHO .
Looking around on the site some, its supposed to work much the same as the "untreated wood". Same techniques etc.....

Well as you know we are mostly CEOs of companies on this site. We are also very frivolous with our money and collect tools as a hobby. (in regards to finewoodworking article a month or two ago)
