Good deal on Jet Tablesaw at Rockler

edit: I forgot to mention, this is the same saw I've had and used w/ really good results for the last 8 years. I think the fence has been upgraded by Jet somewhat over the years, but my basic Jet Fence works great.

I saw the same add in an email advertisement a local Roclker store sent me. I'd check it out for sure if I needed a new saw. I have the Jet BS and jointer. I'm happy with both of them.

This saw is on my "short list" for an upcoming contractor saw purchase. Checking with Rockler, the shipping would be $182.75. That brings it to above what I can get the Ridgid 3650 for with no delivery needed. Guess I'll need to think about this a little longer.... Any suggestions?

Do you have to pay the full shipping costs no matter what? There was one for sale at our local Rockler, set up quickly and not dialed in, but there just the same. It looks like a fantastic deal to me, but not so great if it costs almost $200 to get the saw to your door.

I recall them telling someone that you have to get the cabinet saws shipped to your house and can't avoid shipping, but was wondering if you could pick this up at the store without doing that.

If you could, it isn't too heavy for two grown men (albeit maybe with a weightlifting belt) to get on a truck.

Rockler has a "free" shipping offer going now, which means that the shipping charge on this saw is $99 this week.
