    Unhappy "mirror" setting nightmare

Has anybody had this happen? I'm ready to pull my hair out.
I'm putting several nameplates together to engrave into acrylic- I need to engrave the back. I select the Mirror setting but instead of everything flipping in place it is taking everything and flipping as if you are flipping a page of a book - so if the word begins at 1" it's not staying there and engraving - it's flipping it over and engraving at 3". If someone could PLEASE PLEASE help me - either reply here or give me a call. Thank you!!!

Are you using the mirror feature in the driver or in your software?

If you are using the mirror in the driver, I would never suggest doing that.

Do all your mirroring in your design software, if it moves the image over, just move it back to where you want it to be.
This way you don't have to adjust settings that the next person would have to check for and possibly mess them up.

Thanks Kevin - I have been using the driver mirror since I got the laser and wasn't having trouble until recently. But I will stay away from that from now on!!! Thank you very much
