    Chris Hartley is a heck of a nice guy!

    Today's mail brought some wood from Texas! Chris Hartley sent me a pieces of sweet gum and live oak and a bunch of small pieces that just might motivate me to turn some pens. What a great surprize!

    The bowl is from a piece of elm Chris dropped off on his drive-around this summer..

    and the fly...When I was editing these pics I discovered a fly on the rim of the bowl... maybe he was attracted to that wonderfull elmmy smell

    Been out on business all week and sitting in the airport now waiting to go home. You guys are way too kind. Tom that is a beauty that grain looks wild. Remember this will be your BTK bowl. You can explain if anyone asks. I am so happy you got the shipment hope it arrived without any cracks.
