WARNING - Do not attempt to apply the Stinson...

finish with the lathe on . With everyone else seeming to pick up Travis' technique so easily with such exceptional results, I figured I'd give it a try when I got home. Well, it's not as easy as it looks. I dove right in to the shop after work and here's the results/aftermath. Good thing the trusty beagle was there to pull me to safety.... (I'm terrified to think what will happen when I try to buff it).

Maybe I'll give George or Bonnie's version a try later, after I recover from the horror of this experience.

The look on the dogs face is priceless. Sorta of a "What were you thinking...." kind of look.

I literally fell out of my chair howling. My WIFE even thought it was funny, and I'm supposed to be working now.

Does SWMBO know that you used an entire roll of "secret ingredients" to attempt that finish?

    Thumbs up Have you checked

Are you picking up any alien life form radio waves from your lathe yet? I am interested to know what style and type of music they listen to - that is a price less picture- no doubt!
