Delta Super 990 RAS or DeWalt?

I want to add a RAS to the shop, get it properly tuned up, and see what it can do when you know what you're doing. I have the Mr. Sawdust book.

I may have an opportunity to get an early 1960s Delta Super 990. It's coming from a commercial shop, is in good shape, and includes the table. They have a 9" blade on it.

I've been on the lookout for a 9 or 10" 1950s DeWalt but don't want to pass up a good saw. Is the Delta comparable? Better? Worse? All comments are appreciated. Thanks

I believe you will/would get a good response to it over at the DeWalt RAS forums. The only thing I can think to watch out for is, is it single or three phase? Coming from a commercial shop, I would want to know that.

Thanks Randal, I'll try that. It was single phase.
