Ordered mine, thanks for the heads up.
Love that size. Thanks.
Thanks for the heads up.....I ordered a few
Thanks from me too, for the heads up! I've been looking for a decent deal.

Life is a gift, not a guarantee.
Thanks for the heads up. I've been waiting for a sale on 40 inchers as I picked a single 40" at Sears when they were closing them out and having an odd number of clamps is not right.

That's a great deal. I must resist...
I know you can never have too many clamps, but my wife thinks I already do.

I am just wondering if the Canucks out there know if the Bessey Canadian Tire clamps are the same or a Bessey name on cheeper product line? PS don't like CT any way. Just another way to dislike them.

Howdy Jeff,
Thanks for the tip on the 40 inchers. A very good price! I had a little extra O.T. last week that wasn't spoken for. My mortal boss "swmbo" said ok. So I've got a couple headed my way. Thanks again for the heads up.

being new to the forum and woodworking..and never ordered from amazon before...can you tell me what the new and used after the amt. means...do you get a choice or is there a chance you will be sent a used item and not a new one...TIA
They are new. If you click on the used and new link, it will show a couple other merchants who sell them. Doing so, you see Amazon has them currently for $27 (new) and, say, "BIC Superstore" has new ones for $36. The amazon offer has free shipping as an option. Not the other merchants.Originally Posted by Jerry Evans

I have no will power. My finger hovered for only a second before I ordered the cabinet door kit. That's $26 per clamp. It's a steal, and I gotta have em.
Yeah that's right - I gotta have em

Stop it, my wallet is really really hurting already. Picked up the 24/40 door kit and a couple 60's already. On top of that I just got my Wixey Angle and Planer gauges and a Bosch Jobsite Radio.

I bought a bunch of the Bessey clamps during the last big sale and have been using them since. They're very good clamps, a lot better than my old pipe clamps, but not as easy to use as they could be.
The latest issue of Woodsmith contains an article rating new parallel jaw clamps which made me wish I had waited and bought the new Jets, which are said to be about the same price as the Besseys but include some worthwhile user-friendly improvements.
