    CarveWright or CompuCarve ...

    Here's the latest sign off of the CarveWright machine. I've had it about a year, so I've been making lots of chips. I found some "old wood" textures on the web, converted to grayscale in Photoshop and imported them to the Designer. I thought they turned out rather well.The piece is 16"x 10" and is cherry. I plan on sealing the cherry and painting the letters. Thanks for looking.

    That is nice work. I really like the texture. I have been wanting to buy one of those machines but am on the fence because of all the trouble reports on the CarveWright forums. Has your machine been reliable? Do you think it is safe to buy one, in a Quality Control sense?
