    "new posts" button problems?

I use the "new posts" button when I visit so I can see the very latest goings on. I just assumed that it would show me the posts since my last visit. I noticed today that it's missing a lot of the new posts... For some reason, the free stuff area in particular isn't showing. Even the post my dad made a less than 1 1/2 hrs ago still didn't show up on the "new posts" when I just checked in. It's a bit disparaging that he missed drawing when I visit at least once or twice a day and check in using "new posts". I looked through the general woodworking area also and noticed there are threads there that I've never seen too. Any suggestions?

    Mike,

When you log out any posts that you did not read will be marked read. The next time you visit the new posts list you receive will be from your last logout, not necessarily all the posts you have not read.

    Keith,

Guess I didn't explain it very well. I'm talking about new posts from the last logout, not all unread posts. The only thing I can think of is that maybe its missing posts posted while I'm actually logged in and reading from my "new posts" listing. Would that possibly be the case?
