Is there anything worth salvaging from a defunct VCR/DVD? Lightning got it a couple of weeks ago and I'm just now getting around to tossing it...
Any good magnets or anything?
Thanks!

I've been dumping all my stacks of dead electronics.
I'll never fix them, parts are out dated & taking up space.
Salvaged the power cords for recycling.
With other cutoffs, and salvage from my rehab. I had 90lbs of scrap.
Not bad at todays prices.

One of my grandfathers had an electronics repair shop, he used to keep horseshoe capacitors charged up and on the bench. Taught people to not mess with stuff they shouldn't.
