Thread: Does wood need to be planed?

    Another thing Wendy, the wood that you'll be using will have to have some sort of a finish on it. You'll need to put something like Varnish or Polyurethane on it to protect it.

    Maybe she wasn't but I was (at Georgia Tech), graduated 1975 civil engineering .... but I'm guessing that's somewhat before your time? Appears we are close to being neighbors.
