That was neither Mark. I was really trying to figure out it that thing would fit in Spring's Subaru without one of us having to stay in Milwaukee. I figured if one of us had to stay it would probably be me and I'm rather partial to my own bed.

Bread making? Best book I've found is this one...

The Bread Baker's Apprentice: Mastering the Art of Extraordinary Bread (Hardcover)
by Ron Manville (Photographer), Peter Reinhart (Author)
    (97 customer reviews)
Thanks for the info Glenn. I've got several from our son but they're all fancy breads, not that there's anything wrong with that. I just like more simple stuff as a rule.

I looked at that pic again Jim and realized how much I look like I could have been one of the "Our Gang" kids. That is a classy hat. At least it made my square head look round.

Don, we were just back in Troy for Thanksgiving last year. I still have an Uncle and Aunt and a bunch of cousins, so I'll be going back again. Next time I'll be sure and look you up. Nothing better than meeting "Creekers".

Wife wants to go to Maine the next time we go back that way, so I'm trying to decide if we do go to Maine if I should go the the LN factory or go see the MOA. It may come down to where ever I can get lobster or fresh made ICE CREAM.

Cool! I'll break some Point Beer outta the vault; and we can use them as chasers for my FMF concoction!

And you can do both, Karl. LN is a short 45 mile two hour ride from the house. Gotta love a road system designed for horses!

And bring that Spring feller with ya!

Great interview Karl. Getting a lathe huh? Sweet! Better enjoy all those nice tools before you do. Here's the current status of my last flatwork project before I got bit by the turning bug.

See, See, that's exactly why I said I wanted to get some of my flat projects done before I get a lathe.

How many others are out there like Travis and Ken in Idaho????
