    Looking for cribbage board plans

Looking for travel size cribbage board plans. I saw one that flipped in half and held the cards inside.

Also not sure if this is what you mean, but Lee Valley sells templates for cribbage boards.

  4. I'm no help to you either, but a cribbage board is my next project. I've got the wood chunk planed and smooth and pretty, and I think I have my hole spacing figured out. I just need to get drilling. I plan to use a stop at the DRILL PRESS [edit], then use pieces of 1/4" aluminum from borg to step the board over 1/4 inch at a time. Each track will be 3/8" apart. For that, I plan to use a few pieces of scrap T-track to move the board away from the fence. In my head it works great. But we will see. Mine's just gonna be a pretty standard large sized rectangle design.

I'd like to try routing a shallow v-notch around the tracks or something, possibly burning the notch (than sanding the surface) to darken it for contrast. Never done that before, so there will be some scrap wood tests for sure.

AFter reading that, maybe I will rethink my approach to drilling. The awl technique makes good sense. My wife could zip out a custom CAD drawing for me in no time, I think, that I could use in the same way.
