Hi, does anyone have a source for chrome/gold plate finish plastic? I need to make faux wheel spinners for a kids toy.

Johnson Plastics carries several of the rowmark plastics. I use quite a few myself in the metal look finish. I use the NO MARK PLUS plastics as the finish is a bit tougher and does not show finger prints.

Tap Plastics has gold and silver mylar, just like they use on those spinners. It's thin and bendable, like the real spinners. But I have no idea how it is to cut with the laser. I'm guessing it won't engrave well, but don't know.

Mark,
I purchase silver and gold mirror acrylic sheets from a local plastics supplier, Norva Plastics in Norfolk Virginia. Four by eight sheets (1/8" thick) are $136.00.
