    Do you think that a 2 1/2 year old could handle that? I can't wait to get my daughter out in the shop with daddy.

    Most excellent Barry!!!!!! Kids do surprisingly well on the lathe. I hope she'll start posting some of her work. Now, how many lathes are you gonna need around your house?

    That's just too great, Barry. I do want to see pics of her finished work!

    BTW: Over on AAW there was a gentleman who had his 5YO daughter on the lathe. She turned a breakfast bowl, and uses it exclusively. This kind of connection is priceless, and lasts a lifetime.

    great picture. I've had my boys on the lathe already - and the youngest is four.

    You might want to push that front sleeve up a bit.
