    Yep -- I did that .

    That sounds reasonable!

    Hey Ken,
Thanks for destroying my credibility! You, of all people, should know how sensitive a guy I am and how I value my delicate sef-esteem! I'm devastated!

By the way, if your beer is overflowing with foam, don't waste the salt shaker. Just stick your finger in it. The salt from your finger will do the same thing. Anyway, from a Wisconsin native, you are supposed to pour the beer down the side of the glass and just end up with a small "head".

SEE!! I can be a nice guy even after you have treated me with such cruelty!

Wow, Dale! You really are getting "in the loop"? Will that dam up the Creek? Will we become Sawmill Pond?

The fact that Keith and Jackie even have to SUGGEST that some financial assistance would be much appreciated is absolutely APPALLING to me!!!

I KNOW that there are a lot of GREAT people on this forum and I assume that you are as generous as you are talented. Be that as it may, for those of you who have “forgotten” to support your best source of woodworking information, I have a few questions for you:

    · When was the last time that you did NOT have a question answered by one of your fellow members??
    · If you are a professional/contractor/part-time fixit person/etc., how much money did your last mistake cost you?? Do you think that you could have saved that money if you had swallowed your pride and leaned on your friends at The Creek?
    · If you are an amateur like me, how many times have your fellow members bailed you out with their expert advice? Did your project turn out better or worse?
    · Have you been fortunate enough to gain a “friend” or “friends” as a result of being a member of The Creek? I have!! What is THAT worth to you?
    · How many times have your fellow Creekers found a reason to praise one of your projects and make you glow with pride? In reality, however, it was a piece of scrap that even your Mother didn’t want. It happens to ME every time I post a picture! This is called support, understanding, encouragement and just plain friendship!

    On a slightly different note:
    · What did it cost you the last time that you filled your gas tank?
    · If you smoke (I’m REALLY trying to quit), how much did you spend on your last carton of cigarettes?
    · What are we paying for a twelve-pack these days?
    · What will a single steak dinner cost you?

C’mon folks, would YOU work for nothing? A person with Aaron’s technical skills should not be expected to contribute to our hobby without deserved compensation! Keith and Jackie should NEVER have to even SUGGEST that finances are a consideration in the maintenance of The Creek!

OK Mods, that’s MY rant for the evening. Don’t remind me. I already KNOW that I should be posting this on the OT Forum. I didn’t and I’m GLAD!!

I will prevent The Creek from becoming Sawmill Ocean if you will beat up on San Josey. He's picking on me - AGAIN!!

    David,
While Pesh has developed enough teeth to have cut for me the logs of the raft upon which I am now floating down the River Styx, with his inattention to the Creek of late I cannot imagine that he is investing the time and energy required to damn the Creek.

Pity be to all of us,
    Frank

    Hey Arena,
It's been a while bud! I can't REALLY say that I missed you but every time I mentally evaluate the elements of our friendship, I find that each of them slightly exceed the passion that I feel for having a root canal!! Just kidding Frank. I shouldn't talk like that because I know how sensitive you are.

Anyway, I'll bet that the River Styx is REALLY boiling with you and Ann huddled together on that raft discussing "the meaning of life", the true meaning of the writings of Sir David Hume and John Stuart Mill, Einstein's "Theory of Warped Space" and, last but not least, POLITICS!!

I hope that things are fine in the big city and it's GREAT to hear from you!!

...sigh... What I can't understand is why everyone always picks on good ole Dale... or Pesh... or So Sensitive He's Got a Rash... or whatever he is going by today, or this hour. Jeeze! Poor ole Dale (heavy emphasis on the "ole")...

David, who don't beat up nuthin' he can't eat
