    Vacuum chucking for the mini

I've got to do a 2 day demo for my Guild in a couple months, so I've been busy getting my mini lathe rigged up for it. I wanted to be able to set up and break down the rig easily. I welded a frame for the vacuum pump that rides on the center stretcher of the lathe stand. The hose from the filter to the gauge assembly has a 1/4" quick connector on one end and the gauge stalk connects to the lathe bed with 2 screws. I think it's ready!

That is a great looking setup Travis. Nice job. Very clean and out of the way of your turning.

    Smooth execution Travis.
Access to controls looks to be very convenient, and it’s durned good looking too!
Bet this will be a fine demo for your Guild.
