    Smile 1/32 & Smaller Veneer

Hi again guys! Getting a handle on my new Epilog! Best toy I've had since my first BB Gun, less destructive too!

Hey I'd like to know of a good source of thin wood sheets, 1/32" down to paper thin veneers.

I have basswood from Midwest, am looking for something higher quality with a real tight, smooth grain, like Holly or Pear. Its for miniature work, so it has to look real nice on close inspection!

    Thanks for the help!

    Dave

There's a fairly large amount of veneer available on ebay, though like all ebay sales you take your chances. I got some redwood veneer there from a seller called "thinwoods" and was quite happy with it.

I haven't bought from these places, but had bookmarked them for future investigation (I have no idea if there are minimums):

Make friends with a custom cabinet maker. I get scraps free from a woodworking neighbor business. They often have leftovers too small
to ever use but rarely throw them out.
