    Spring is here

    My flowering cherry next to the driveway has never had more blossoms. You get a real sweet smell getting out of the car.

    Yup.....our double weeping cherry is just coming into bloom! Our dogwood who we hope will survive an extreme trimming is just sporting a few buds, however!

    I was noticing yesterday that our trees are just beginning to show the start of leaves. Got out the mower and rolled my lawn, tilled up the garden for the first time....yep, spring is here.

    Yup...lots of blooming here, too. And I mowed the lawn for the first time yesterday...much earlier than previous years.

    My cherry was looking good, then the storms came and blew all the blooms off. Dangit.
