This morning while viewing the Arts CBC web site I found this interview with Michael Fortune, One of Canada’s best known furniture makers and designers.

I attended one of the traveling woodworking shows 2 years ago in NewOrleans and took two mini classes taught by Michael. This guy is incredible. He has so many simple solutions to problems, so many low cost ways of doing things. I sure wish I could spend a couple weeks with him and just absorb some knowledge.

Do you know what I mean when I say...there are some people you'd like to sit around expanding the Molson muscle with? Of course you do...but he is one I'd love to sit with to pick his brain. I wonder why he only was nominated for the Canada Council Molson Award in 1999/01?
Thanks for the site...TLOML (Canadian, eh?) actually asked what I was doing looking at the CBC!
