Mark, I like that idea. Turn the arc from a vertical feature to a horizontal. On the nitestands that, to me, is an excellent idea.
I guess we'll see what Garry comes up with, when he posts finished pics.

Hey Garry,
Sorry I took so long, I got a little busy again, but anyway, I made a few slightly different designs for you. They are nothing special, but hopefully they will at least give you some ideas so you can come up with something that you like.
Anyway here they are, I like the 1st one best, but it was the last one I made, I am still posting the others though so you can have a couple more ideas to work with.
Like I said, they are not much, but I hope they help

I like the 1st set the best they are on the same order as Nathans sketch.
Thanks for taking the time to draw then and post them. I will show my wife this thread and let the judge decide this case.

No problem Garry, it actually only took a few minutes because I just modified a nightstand that I made before.
Anyway, I got the idea for the first one, from the bench in the front. The way the top drawer is flat on top with the angled bottom. then I just mirrored it, so it would have the same feel of the bench. I dont know if I said that clearly.
I tried to use the textures right from the picture, but they didnt come out right so the final product doesnt look as good as I wanted it to, but it wasn't meant to be anything more than an idea for you anyway.
Let us know when you come up with the design you are going to use. I'm not so concerned about which design you use, but I really like your bed and I want to see how the set comes together.
Later
