Oddly enough I once had a MArk II salon, it was a sort of bronze colour with mint green uphostery. I had visions of restoring it but have to admit to not being overly mechanically inclined. So it languished in my garage for two years or so.

|The story had a happy ending though as a millwright bought it from me for the same price I paid for it. He had started an apprenticeship as a mechanic in England at a Jaguar dealership and the first new car he ever drove was a Mark II. Good thing he did buy it to as it tuerned out the frame had some serious issues owing to the use of road salt here.

I loved the design of those cars.
