Thanks Ken. By the way, is there a forum rules post somewhere? One of the best things about BP is "Wayne's Laws". The rules that basically dump any rude, mean spirited, insulting, etc. comments that plague many other forums.

    Board Rules

    Doug / All

Because the Pond is closing in such a short period of time we have been concentrating on the board configuration. new services and helping everyone get comfortable with our software we have not had the time to post our board rules and all the other legaleze as yet. The rules will be almost identical to the Pond.
We will be a little less strict in some areas such as posting links to outside web sites, hopefully people will be responsible in this area. Our moderators will be able to keep this in check.

Discussions concerning business are acceptable but we prefer that people do not discuss fees or post messages that list prices, private email is suitable for this type of communication. In other words we want to help the very small woodworking organizations but don't want everyone here to be blasted with advertisments. Whenever a thread gets out of hand it will be deleted or edited by one of our moderators.

Every post has an option to report it to a moderator, this allows our members to get involved and help us keep things within reasonable boundaries. I think we can get along with minimal problems and without being so strict as to prevent people from sharing their ideas and information about woodworking and related topics. All moderators will be selected from our members, this way we are all judged by our peers.
