Someone suggested I post here instead of the off-topic thread. I just moved and the kitchen is original to my 48 year old house. I need to re-think it a little bit before I start remodeling. Does anybody know of any resources to redesign a kitchen, like any software or books? I appreciate the help.

If you have a CAD program that accepts 'dwg' drawing files, I have a nice little library of stock kitchen cabinet sizes including some common options that people often want. I also have models for appliances and typical kitchen furnishings (tables, chairs, light fixtures, etc.). All drawings are for use with 3D CAD programs. They were developed in AutoCAD. Let me know if you can use the files. A sample screen shot of one of the files is shown below...

There are three kitchen files (wall cabinets, base/pantry cabinets and appliances). I also have a file for bathrooms. Unfortunately, these files total 44 mb and won't upload. I'll trying to see if I can zip them.
Anyhow, if you PM your mailing address, I will send you a CD.
