    Opinions on slat board?

I just got done totally gutting my garage and rewiring, sheet rocking, etc. and am now ready for the 'lipstick' items.

The previous version of my garage had a pegboard to hang my EZ Guide rails, levels and the like.

I'm kind of thinking of putting up one sheet of the slat wall to use this time because of it's neater appearance. I realize the brackets and hangers are more money, but I don't need a ton of them. What are your opinions, pro or con?

Good stuff, but expensive new as you indicate. Maybe you can find some used slot-board in a "retail renovation" environment? There is also a plastic version on the market...saw it in a magazine not long ago, but I don't recall which one.

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...

Nice stuff, but too expensive for me. I opted, instead for pegboard with Talon hooks. See the thread: http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=13415

    Steve,

Put the EZ, the SRK and a slot cutter to work. Make your own slot board! It will be EZ.
