Just thought I'd post a pic of what I'm working on for ye.
Going to make a base up for this belt and disc sander, as the original flimsy splayed pressed sheet metal base just ain't practical in my shed,
That'll be the guts of what I need for the job, so I'll hopefully be back with an update for ye then.

I have a more in depth WIP elsewhere, though not progressed any further on things yet.
Hopefully the sander will be far more versatile, being able to wheel it around anywhere... in the shed.
That being a fundamental to the use of the machine.
