Help finding a new home for a boat project

I have recently inherited a boat project that I do not have the time or skills to complete. I am seeking suggestions on how I might find an individual or group that would be interested in taking this project. I have reached out to several wooden boat schools and museums in the Chesapeake Bay area, but have not received much of a response.

I believe, the project is based on a Chesapeake Bay Skipjack. It is 23 feet in length. I believe it is near completion, but again do not have much boat building knowledge.

The boat is located in Central Virginia.

Let me know what other pertinent info I can add.

    Thanks in advance,
    -zk

Wooden Boat has an active Community section that includes classifieds. Creating a listing there would be my suggestion. There is also Boat Angel, they operate mostly on eBay. After winning a Boat Angel auction I began to have doubts about the legitimacy of their charity.
