whats the material. Rough? you have a jointer and a planer? you are only asking about ripping and its to width?
set your riving knife so its tight or some preload tiny bit and it will keep the material to the fence.
Really ive fed stuff like this from the start with no more than infeed or outfeed support. Didnt always have infeed support but always have outfeed. This is the first saw now I have a riving knife.

So ... my first thought was its a blind cut to make the 'stop' an integral part of the frame ... jamb?
Or a resaw to get a flat'ish piece? 2 from one would wind up being a fair bit less than 3/4.
No bandsaw that can do 6"? Or no jointer/planer to clean it up?
I kinda remember corner notching some pieces on a portable TS. 'Ugly' comes to mind. Cleaned them up on the router table.
