Now that we've moved to our empty-nesters house, I have way too many saws and it's time to thin the herd. I've been restoring, sharpening, tuning and using hand saws for 40 years, and at the risk of sounding like an arrogant jerk, I'm really, really good at it. I guarantee these saws to be the best users in your shop or I will gladly refund your money and pay return shipping. This is not my business – all proceeds go to Angel Tree charity that supports children with incarcerated parents.
All totes have been cleaned, soaked in oil/varnish, two coats of shellac and paste wax. Any defects are noted. All plates are cleaned in Evaporust, scraped and polished through three different grit abrasives on the buffing wheel. Guaranteed to be slick, smooth and straight. Sharpening specs are: 8° of rake, 25° Fleam angle, 20° slope angle and set individually based on plate taper etc. to work well in kiln dried hardwoods and most soft woods that aren't soaking wet.
Priced to sell to woodworker who will enjoy and appreciate them. I pay shipping in CONUS. First person to PM me with "I'll take it" gets the saw. I can't see my PMs in real time but will respond within 24 hours. Once shipped, I'll p.m. you with tracking number, ETA etc. you pay me upon receipt, I prefer PayPal but whatever works best for you. Feel free to PM or call if you have any questions (858) 220 – 5611.
Thanks for looking and for supporting kids who really need the help!
