Websites prove their identity via certificates, which are valid for a set time period. The certificate for sawmillcreek.org expired on 8/3/2024.
With Firefox, once you have taken the plunge (not so very deep breath) and instructed the browser to allow you to go to the site, it at least remembers and stops troubling you for further permissions. Chrome makes you go through the same tedious permissions process again, and again, and again ... ...
Yes, there was an error when I paid for our secure server certificate that I could not resolve. I decided to contact the registrar the next day and forgot to call them. It’s my fault for not following up to resolve the problem, sorry for the inconvenience folks, it should be resolved shortly.
Apology accepted. I'm awake and online because I was checking on the status of the pending hurricane and my first thought was that if the registrar were in the Big Bend area of Florida, they would be closed tomorrow along with every other non-essential entity, prolonging your problem.
