Rockwell Planer Feed roller chain question

Hi, I have a Rockwell RC-33 13" Planer. Last night it quit feeding and come to find out looks like I busted the master link on the feed roller chain. The part number for that is listed as 428-06-023-0005 but I cannot find it anywhere. Does anyone have any clues about where I can get a replacement?

    Thanks

Hi Sue, any power transmission company (belts, sprockets, bearings etc will have that in stock.

Farm supply places often have those things as as Harbour Freight

I obviously don’t know who is any your area however there will be suppliers.

Just take the chain with you.

    Regards, Rod.

Thanks a bunch Rod. I did find one at McMaster-Carr. Their part number 6027K65. Less than $4.00. The chain is 06B, and uses an offset link. Then I found one believe it or not, on Amazon. Go figure. Appreciate your help.

Roller chain has been standardized since it was invented.

Unlikely. Everything uses larger chain than that, is usually an o-ring type, and is endless.

It comes up in a google search as a half link. Change the 005 to 004 and it's a master link. If you have any farm stores (Tractor Supply or similar) or farm equipment dealers in your area they should have a 428 master link.

Yes, however you need to know the chain size, which many people wouldn’t be able to determine.

    Regards, Rod.

I usually don't believe in miracles, but here is what happened. Last week I emailed everyone on Ebay that was selling older Delta/Rockwell planer parts. Everyone said that the item was discontinued, or no longer available. Then I got a message back from one of them yesterday to let me know that he found a box of 10 in his warehouse. Go figure. Funny how things work out sometimes. Here's the link incase anyone reading this thread needs an out feed roller sprocket for a Rockwell
RC-33 22-650 Planer. Thank you all for all your help. Learned a lot.

not a miracle but a lesson in persistence, a good thing to have. You kept with it.

Past had a tool and die maker friend he would have made it.
