    Another Teak Question

HI, I'm going to have some small pieces of Teak left over from blanks for some bowls that I'm turning for a friend. I'd like to glue them together to make something else. What should I use Titebond II or Titebond III and how do I prep the surface? Thanks, Jim

With teak, tb2 is better than tb3 imho. Epoxy is even better. Regardless, I would wipe the edges you're going to glue with a little acetone first.

It depends on your teak. Fast grown plantation teak is not the same animal as old growth teak.

I've glued teak with TBIII with no problems. Don't know if it was plantation teak or not.
