    Optimalon Cut List Software

I have used the software previously and it does a good job, but all the work was with 3/4" stock. Has anyone used it on a combo 3/4" and 1/2" ply design or do I need to generate two different cut lists based on my needs for each size?

The software I have a licence for, Cut List Plus (Silver), easily handles multiple thickness materials in a single project. Each component has length, width and thickness and this can be further differentiated by material type...plywood of various species and types, MDF, particle board, Melamine; you define them in "inventory" and choose the material type for the component(s) at an individual level in addition to dimensions.

+1 for CutList. You can even specify grain direction for plywood stock in inventory and the parts to be cut from it.

You might also consider the community (i.e., free) version of MaxCut:

I used it to design the 40+ cabinets in a very large kitchen
