It’s a sharp pointy thing. It says so on the label! 4 quid has to be a good price for a sharp pointy thing!
It's a Tectool. A two cutter plough plane for cutting grooves into curved surfaces. Mainly used for things like cutting the groove for the drawer bottom on curved drawer fronts. That one has the optional fence on the back. You just run it back and forth and it cuts both ways. Crica mid to late 50's, early 1960's.

I can see how you control depth but how do you control right/left? It seems that a second pass won't necessarily track the same as the first.
I want one.
