    Forum Thread Organization

I apologize if this has been covered before. The order in which posts on a particular thread are listed has always puzzled me. Instead of being listed simply chronologically like other forums, they are often listed as "branches" of previous posts often out of chronological order. If a thread has a limited number of posts, this is not a problem. But for threads that have been continuing for a while, trying to find the latest contribution is tantamount to a game of "Where's Waldo". Is there a reason for this?

    It's a setting.
Go to Settings at the top right, then General Settings then Thread Display Options.

Pick the one you want to see.

Rob, as Dave said, it is a setting. Yours is currently set to hybrid. Try setting it to linear, oldest first.
