    Ohio State wall clock

I built this starting with rough sawn maple using mostly hand tools; the exception was a scroll saw to cut the outline. The University logo was done with pyrography and an inlay of macacauba; the cardinal points on the clock face are pyrography buckeyes in cherry end grain.

The recipient graduated from the Ohio State University last spring.

Nice work Michael. the choice of wood blends really nice.
I've never done pyrography. It looks interesting though, and your lines are very clean and detailed.
I hope the recipient is very happy with your work.

Thanks, Mike! I do enjoy pyrography; if you're interested, I'd recommend giving it a try.
