Spindle not lifting high enough between medals

I have a Gravograph IS200 and I'm engraving multiple medals. The spindle is not lifting high enough between the jobs and tip is dragging into vice between engraving. I cant work out how to get it to raise higher between medals.

I have sorted .. was trying to do on the machine instead of in machining settings.. Dhhhhh!

Have you tried to raise the cutter at the screw fitting (). Sounds like the down travel is set high.

there are a couple of things on YouTube on this. You can try to do it through the tool and spindle but I always set mine with the software.
