Tallest hardwoods in NorthAmerica. Planted in 1882, around 200' tall and still growing.
The redwood tress replanted about the same time are only 175' tall so far. Should double that in a century or two when they reach a more mature height.

I sure want to go see the Redwoods, the Mountains, the West, and every thing along the way. I visited Portland OR once. The Home Depo there is just like ours although they did have nice VG Douglas fir boards.
Best Regards, Maurice
Seeing the Sequoias and Redwoods is amazing. My wife and I made two separate trips out west just for that purpose. It is a very humbling experience to walk among those giant trees.
