3M Pro Grade Sandpaper Sheets (for hand sanding)

I see 3M has two versions of their "Pro Grade Precision Sanding Sheets No-Slip Grip Backing". One says it uses Cubitron II, the other doesn't say. Here's a couple of links to each:

    Taylor Tool Works (with Cubitron)
    https://taytools.com/products/3m-pro...ip-gripbacking

    Amazon (without Cubitron)
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Y1WH8EE

The Cubitron is about 5x the price. Anyone try both? Is the Cubitron a lot better?

have tons of 3M sandpaper here in diff configurations. Sheets are 216U or 316U think 216 have to go check, it works fine. They gave me samples of that years ago if its a ceramic thing. Never really tried it out the 216U works fine. There is more to sandpaper than just the grit and how sharp, how consistent size grit and how long it stays sharp., The paper backing and flexibility are important as well depending on what you are sanding.
