    Burn Barrel Boxes

My last couple of projects have left me with a couple of barrels full of scrap to burn. With Christmas only a couple of months away I thought I should take some action in my own self defense.

I find enough bubinga, walnut, cherry and maple to batch out some boxes with trays.

Even smaller scraps yield some decorative pulls.

    The assembly line continues.

There . . . that oughta protect me from a few of those last minute gift requests. All have maple trays and bottoms.

Those look great!!!! And what a fine way to use wonderful "scraps" without starting a fire.

Looks like a great use for the scraps, Glenn.
I noticed the table saw sled with the matchfit clamps in the background. How well do they work on the sled. I'm asking 'cause I need to make a new sled.

@Paul Saffold -I think they work great. Some people report delamination of a plywood base but IMHO they are tightening the clamps beyond their design parameters . . . or using poor ply. I stick to 3/4" baltic birch.
