Looking for a leather-to-wood magnetic snap

I'm making a keepsake box and would like to secure the lid with a leather strap. Does anyone know of a magnetic snap, or closure, that is for attaching to wood and leather? It would need to have a hole for a screw in the post or socket.

    Similar to these, but magnetic:

How about glue a pair of magnets to the leather, and set one in a shallow hole in the box. Shoe Goo.

Leather with a slot it in and a wood or metal turnbuckle.

These guys have a lot of magnetic snaps for leather-to-leather. I'd guess if you ground the prongs off the back of one piece you could countersink and epoxy it into the wood.
